Job Description Marketing - Tactical Marketing
We are looking for a Tactical Marketing Manager to create, coordinate and assess the performance of Liquidnet campaigns in order to enhance the execution of our marketing strategy. The goal of the tactical marketing team is to improve the visibility and measurement of marketing processes.
Responsibilities
* Work with Client facing groups to create and communicate marketing campaigns that meet business objectives.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, both during and after execution to help management improve team performance (sales and revenue, timelines, quality of campaign material)
* Develop the right marketing strategy and mix to drive revenue and grow relationships
* Help drive the overall sales/marketing strategy
* Understand Liquidnet and the strategies of its competitors to formulate plans to address sales efforts
* Conduct demonstrations, presentations and proof of concepts
* Work with leadership team to filter and prioritize the list of campaigns for each quarter.
* Implement the global marketing campaign process
* campaign evaluation and selection
* campaign development and execution
* Campaign Measurement and Knowledge Creation
Qualifications
* Demonstrated leadership with broad marketing/communications and matrix management experience in a global growth company.
* Proven track record defining and implementing marketing and communications strategies to support sales and increase market share
* Previous experience in a progressive, high-energy/fast-paced environment
* Financial services industry experience is strongly preferred
* Passion for his/her area of expertise
* “Out of the box” thinker and thought leader, capable of delivering innovative solutions and high quality timely results
* Proactive and creative approach, capable of challenging the status quo
* Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate at all organizational levels.
* Experience managing and setting quotas
* Managing variable compensation commission
* Managing a business line or P&L preferred
