Job Description
Print Production Designer
Department: Marketing & Licensing / Creative Services

Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, this position will be responsible for design and production of a wide variety of print collateral and advertising to support local and national programs within the ASPCA.
Responsibilities:
Implement original designs within established style guidelines
Edit existing files from outside vendors and designers
Prepare electronic files for press
Build comps for presentations
Manage photo assets
Perform other duties as assigned
Education:
AA in Design or related field
Experience:
1 to 2 years
Advertising agency or in-house creative / marketing department
Knowledge Requirements:
Basic design principles
Understand Brand/Branding
Strong knowledge of typography
Color theory
Skills Requirements:
Possess conceptual, creative and design capabilities
Fluent in all major design programs (Adobe CS3 & MS Office)
Highly organized with ability to meet multiple tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Attentive to detail
Training Requirements:
DNA
Additional Information:
Possible travel (minimal) for press checks, photo shoots, etc.
