We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Vice President, Business Operations in our Marietta, GA location.
Key responsibilities include the management of financial operations, the development of direct and indirect reports, information technology function, and the Affiliate's risk management program. Monitoring the Affiliate's investment portfolio, providing financial support, expertise and guidance to the Affiliate Executive Vice President, the Affiliate Board of Directors, related Board Committees and all business units of the Affiliate, collaborating with Senior staff to develop affiliate-wide strategies based on maximizing income potential and high return on investment.
Experience:
Qualified applicants will have a CPA Certification and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (major in Accounting or Finance). In-dept understanding of the principles and practices of accounting and general business administration. Knowledge of the principles and practices of planning, budgeting, general business operations, assigning, directing, coordinating and review work. Ability to effectively train and supervise staff. Ability to analyze financial data and interpret narrative form.
The above knowledge, skills and abilities may be gained by approximately ten years experience in working in an automated accounting environment and five years of management experience. Non-profit experience preferred.
This position may require travel and/or weekend work.
Must pass Criminal, Credit and DMV background checks.
